As a freshman in high school, senior year may seem so far away but in actuality, it’s not. Here’s a guide to help you get a head start on college as well as become informed and go in knowing the ropes a bit!
Freshman Year:
- The summer after your freshman year is the PERFECT time to find an internship or part-time job! It will help you know what you like and don’t like as well as give you the opportunity to begin building your resume.
- Also, with this job you’ll have the opportunity to save money! (This is monumental, SAVING and BUDGETING are two skills needed in all facets of life.)
- Most banks offer student checking and savings accounts. Ask a parent to get the necessary documents and help with opening an account.
