Student Spotlight: NATEERAH SAFI

I was recently selected to join the Early Medical School Selection Program (EMSSP) at Boston University and have also received provisional acceptance into medical school, which I will begin one year early.

At my home campus, Hampton University, I’ve continued to thrive—most recently being elected Vice President of Black Girls in White Coats, which was proudly voted the most impactful campus organization this year. I had the opportunity to plan and host the 2nd annual BGWC medical career fair (attached is a photo of me hosting the career fair panel!).

In addition, I’ve developed a strong connection with Eastern Virginia Medical School, a local medical school near my university. I’ve had the honor of completing a prestigious internship through the Dr. L.D. Britt Premedical School and am also a participant in their Early Assurance Program (EAP).
